Four Corners Title Insurance Company is a licensed title company in New Mexico. We serve Gallup, New Mexico and the surrounding area of McKinley County including Ramah, Thoreau, Prewitt, Bluewater, Vanderwagen, Gamerco and Yatahey. We have been in business for over 25 years now and we are locally owned and operated. Our title underwriters that we partner with are Chicago Title Insurance, Commonwealth Land Title, Alliant National Title Insurance, and Old Republic Title. We supply Realtors, lenders, mortgage companies, sellers, and purchasers with title commitments and closing services for purchases and refinances. We have about a 48-72 hour turnaround time for most products. The title premium fees in New Mexico are regulated by the New Mexico Department of Insurance. Our title commitment fee is $1000.00. Our closing fee starts at $200.00 for up to $50,000 of title insurance and then $1.00 per thousand after that. We give discounts according to New Mexico Rules and Rate Regulations on refinance and purchase transactions. In most cases you must give us a copy of the prior Title Policy to obtain the discount. We also perform various types of title searches, including deed searches, mortgage or lien or judgement searches, tax search, current owner search, prior owner search, owner and encumbrance reports, and foreclosure searches for people or property located in McKinley County. Pricing on these searches varies and starts at about $75.00 plus tax and copies. Our office is very friendly and courteous and provides prompt service.
